- Coconut oil

- Aloe

- Jojoba

- Phenoxyethanol
- A synthetic preservative often used in place of parabens; excluded across the Saavy catalog.
- Propylene glycol
- A synthetic humectant and carrier; left out in favor of plant-derived moisturizing ingredients.
- PEGs
- Petroleum-derived thickeners and carriers; not used in any Saavy Naturals formula.
- Petroleum
- Petroleum-based occlusives like petrolatum and mineral oil; replaced by plant butters and oils.
- Artificial colors
- Synthetic dyes added for appearance; left out so natural ingredient tones show through.
- Artificial fragrance
